Today I went to the restaurant supply store near me to replace the older plastic one I had that lasted less than a year and tried several different ones out. This one was by far the best!!!! It spins so smoothly you can't even feel it move. I am so happy with this purchase. Great turntable for cake decorating!!!!!! Tomorrow I will be making a 3 tiered engagement cake and I'm really looking forward to decorating it with this stand!
Solid and Smooth
I bought this cake stand for my girlfriend who recently started a small bakery business on the side. The following comments and review are based on her use of the product about 12-15 times since purchase.
The cake stand is quite durable and has a good weight to it. It spins quite smoothly and does not have any wobble. There is a nice rubber base on the stand that helps to keep it "stuck" to the counter. The cake stand comes with a circular non-slip pad (like what is used under area rugs on wood or tile surfaces to prevent slipping) that helps to keep the cake firmly planted on the stand. The pad can then be removed and washed.
Overall, she is very pleased with the stand and said that she would definitely recommend it to others.
