The instructions for assembly were not easy to follow, although the product went together easier without them. The product is well balanced and moves smoothly. It does seem like a bit of wasted space; mine is for canned goods and they could have thrown in an extra shelf. The price was decent also.
Update: Here it is fall of 2013, and the revolving shelf is still working well - despite the fact that the grandkids like to play with it. Oh, and mine has more than 2 shelves because I bought 2 units and put them together.
