Great undersink compost bin
This is a wonderful bin for compost, with the following caveats: you really need to clean out the bin at least once a week with soapy water--it won't clean itself. This bin really only works on frameless cabinets--there is no way to mount it on framed cabinets. Ours has been working perfectly for over 5 years, and everybody who sees it wants to know where we got it.
Perfect replacement part for contractor installed part
Original failed after 6 years. I suppose that 6 years is a reasonable life span. Works quite well. I hope to move long before I need to replace it again.
Great addition to my kitchen
Love it. Easy to use. We use it for our compost, so the fact that it opens "automatically" is key.
Installation was a challenge.
Had to watch an installation video to install it.
